Daymakers! 

Please forgive the brief(er) nature of this update. I wanted to shoot you all a quick note to let you know I (finally) got word from the printer yesterday that Daybreak! #3 and any variant covers and rewards that need to be, have been printed.

Watch the full 17 second video to witness the actual birth of a copy of the limited Darryl Banks cover! Who knows what goes on inside that machine but it's pretty wild for sure.

I (and the rest of my family) will be out of the country until the 16th but I'm told that packages will begin shipping out by the end of next week. This one has taken a few weeks longer than anticipated; half my fault for tightening to fulfillment window to make up time lost on the publishing schedule due to the slight delay in the Switch: Electricia campaign, and half the printing house's fault for being so goddamn busy. But thanks for the extra little bit of patience and I'll send another update when I return to the divided soils of the USA.

By the way, we've held off on announcing our next project until the dust settles on this one. But, while it's not a Switch book, you can look forward to a full comic with art by Tom Nguyen and colors by New Pain's beloved Rich Stahnke towards the end of July/early August.

Unless you hate Tom. Then you can dread it.

Monday update- Digital Rewards unleashed today!

Daymakers!

Happy Monday, guys! Wanted to update you all on several points of interest regarding Daybreak! #3.

First off, we locked the order numbers and your cards were charged for shipping today. IF you haven't filled out your survey yet, don't worry. We always overprint a bit to make sure there are copies on hand for stragglers. If you haven't filled out your survey, there's still time to get your information to the print/fulfillment house before they start the shipping process. If feet continue to be dragged, I'll end up fulfilling your package directly. This will take a little longer than I'd like, I'm traveling a lot this summer for conventions and family vacations; not to mention squeezing actual work into every available minute. So if you don't get to your survey in time for the official survey, I forgive you for being late, you forgive me for needing time and let's move on. Deal?

All the files and print runs were sent to the printing house this morning.  Stefan is working on the reward sketches (which I'll be inking), I'm handling the t-shirts and the shipping of the original art rewards. I'm trying to get everything coming directly from me into the mail by the end of the week. 

FINALLY...

Digital rewards are being distributed this afternoon. Keep an eye on your email for the download links via Backerkit. We're really excited to get #3 into your hands. If you have half as much fun reading it as we did creating it, we're all in for a good time together. Feel free to tag us on social media if you post anything about the series, good or bad.  We love hearing what you think.

Two days remain for surveys

A quick note to remind you all that in two days, we're going to lock orders and give the printer the green light to print/fulfill the campaign. Currently, 87% of you have filled out your surveys. If we can squeeze the rest of you into this initial order, that would be amazeballs!

Daymakers!

A brief note to remind those of you that haven't to please return your Backerkit surveys by June 26th.  We are currently at 81% which means roughly 50 of you still need to fill them out. We can't get you your books and items until you do and that sucks for both of us, believe you me!

There always seems to be a handful of backers that NEVER fill out their survey. I think our best return rate has been 91% over the course of the NP campaigns. Can we at least get to 92% this time and shatter our personal record? That's totally up to you guys but WE BELIEVE IN YOU ALL.

Backerkit will send you a reminder or 19 if you don't return your survey promptly but while I have your attention, can we ask that everyone that intends to (and why wouldn't you?), fill out and submit their information by...

JUNE 25!

We're running a little behind schedule because of the delay in getting surveys approved by BK and would really like to set the print runs and get the book in your hands by the first week in July.  We'll also be sending the digital rewards on June 26th, by the way. If we happen to have a speedier group response to the surveys, we can possibly make those marks happen a little faster but let's shoot for the 25th, ok?
